Daniel Gallegos
One of the founding principles of Daniel's creative work is collaboration. He draws most of his creative inspiration from the collective approach to artistic production. Working with artists and communities he creates relationships that become the base for art where boundaries between individuals blur. Daniel's goal is to combine art practice with different social sciences in order to investigate and understand manifestations of power in physical and cultural landscapes. He works with variety of media, installation, and performance.

Currently Daniel is working on a project called Diagnostics in Oakland, California with the Artpologist Collective. The blog for the site is called Diagnostics and you can follow the project as it develops here at http://artpologist.wordpress.c

Daniel has exhibited his work at various sites including U.C. Berkeley, The Silk Road House in Berkeley, California, Tengri Umai Gallery in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Soros Center for Contemporary Art in Almaty, and The Richmond Art Center.
